BREAKING: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Opens May 31st in Disneyland and August 29th in Walt Disney World

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland on May 31, 2019 and at Walt Disney World on August 29, 2019. These dates have just been confirmed and announced by Disney CEO Bob Iger. 

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will have two attractions, Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will allow 6 guests to pilot the Millennium Falcon as they smuggle goods through the galaxy with Hondo Ohnaka and Chewbacca. There will be three unique and critical roles to play. The attraction is in the south corner of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and will feature the fastest ship in the galaxy in front of the attraction.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

On Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance guests can join an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance – including a face-off with Kylo Ren!

In addition to two attractions, there will be multiple places to eat, including Oga’s Cantina. Dodging stormtroopers is sure to work up an appetite. Oga has something for everyone!
